So what the heck is all this affiliate marketing talk? How can I make money doing it and how hard is it to get started?
I had these questions going through my head when I first started also. I had no clue what an affiliate was or how they made money.
Well since I don’t want you to run around the net like a chicken with his head cut off, I’ll try to explain all the questions you might have about the mysterious affiliate business.
So lets get down to business…….
Firstly, an Affiliate is like a middleman or a stock broker. You are the guy the customer goes through first and you inform them about the best options available to them. If the customer buys what you suggest to them then you make a commission.

An Example of Affiliate Marketing
Poor Sally get picked on and called names because she suffers from acne. She is really depressed and deiced she is going to find a solution to this problem.
Sally starts looking online and types in “how to get rid of acne” .
Sally finds your site that reviews acne products and says to herself ” This site is exactly what I was looking for, A site that tells me what the best acne product is” Sally is so happy to know she can cure her acne, she clicks your affiliate link and buys the product.
Sally is happy and so are you because you just made a $25 commission. That my friend……Is how an affiliate makes money.
